Diane Ruskell BSc (Econ) FCA
Diane Ruskell founded Ruskells Chartered Accountants in August 1997. Since then she has grown the business from just thirty clients to over 500.
Diane is a tax and practice development specialist. She served her Tax Articles and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. with whom she worked until 1989. She then joined Brett Jenkins & Partners as Tax Manager of their Marlow Office.
On the demerger of Brett Jenkins & Partners, and the establishment of Brewer Clark, she became Brewer Clark’s Tax Partner. She was an equity Partner there for five years until August 1997 when she left to form her own Practice.
Diane is an Accounting honours graduate of University College Cardiff, where she won departmental and faculty prizes for outstanding academic performance in each year of her studies.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and also enjoys yoga and walking her dog Dallas.
Alison Taylor Diane's PA
Alison joined us in 2010 and runs the
secretarial and administrative aspects
of the business as well as assisting
Diane with clients’ tax affairs.
She is trained in the use of
personal tax software and also
has extensive experience of using
Microsoft Office and all its
components.
On many occasions Alison will be
your first point of contact with our
business. She is extremely friendly,
approachable and very happy to
help with any queries you may have.
Ildiko Wardle FCCA
Ildiko joined us in June 2009. She qualified as FCCA in 2004 and has since worked in practice as well as in industry. Ildiko’s duties involve bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts and payroll. She is also responsible for annual accounts and corporation tax. She has in depth experience with various Sage accounting software. In her spare time Ildiko enjoys ice-skating and netball.
Clair Barry FCA
Clair joined Ruskells in October 2019.
She qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Andersens and has spent time working for both start-ups and multinationals in the UK and overseas before taking a career break to start a family. Clair is responsible for personal tax including tax returns, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. In her spare time she enjoys getting lost in an audio book, whilst (hopefully not getting lost) running.
Erica Roberts AAT
Erica joined the practice in November 2021. She is responsible for VAT returns, bookkeeping and company secretarial duties. She is also responsible for P11Ds.
In her spare time she enjoys singing in a choir, walking and Pilates.
Helen Ashworth AAT
Helen started with us in 2014.
She is responsible for all aspects
of payroll and auto-enrolment
administration. Prior to
joining us she qualified as
an accounting technician
(AAT) whilst raising three
boys.
Helen lives near Henley
& enjoys cooking & skiing.
Rosalind Gillett FCA
Consultant.
Harvey — Our Loyal Office Companion
Harvey is the first to greet everyone who walks through our doors, his tail wagging in warm welcome. When he’s not busy saying hello, he takes his job as “Chief Security Officer” very seriously, keeping a watchful eye on the office and guarding our files with quiet dedication.
Lauren King - Office Administrator
Lauren joined in 2024 and helps with the administrative aspects of the business. Her background is in buying, working for large international retailers. In her spare time Lauren loves to exercise, looking after her 3 children and her allotment.
Caroline Robinson -
Caroline joined Ruskells in September 2023 after successfully re-training as a bookkeeper. She is an essential part of the team, with responsibility for completing VAT returns for our clients. Outside the office, Caroline maintains an active lifestyle, playing tennis and running, as well as supporting her sons from the sidelines during their various sports events.
